1. Good Snake players don't let this happen
2. Its near impossible to time.

Snake does a good job at preventing other characters from really moving, something Meta Knight loves and needs to do. I main Olimar and second Mk, and I usually don't have problems with Meta Knights. I just stay on the ground and doge dsmashes. Olimar can grab Mk out of most of his attacks and you can shield his tornado and punish Mk afterward. Dk is also very good due to his reach and size.
