Hey, I gots a question... (go ahead and delete this thread after answered if you'd like)...

Do you think it is possible to be able to play Brawl online against a random person... while your friend is ALSO playing on ur wii? Or mayb not even a random person..

say, thre are 3 people.. A, B, and 1 (lol)..

A is at home, and B is also at A's house. There are both playing on the same console, and decide to play online. Could it work that A and B could both connect and play 1?

Just a question, do you guys think it is practical? I don't see why it couldn't work, but then again I'm not al that knowledgable bout that kinda stuff.... so what do you guys think?

I believe so since their will be online co-op.

Although I'm pretty sure they would all need the friend codes.

If this is implemented, I think that there wont be an a, b and 1

I think it will be 1a +1b vs 2a +2b

Understand?

Possibly. Brawl will have quite a bit of trouble with the network code. While lag is the main issue, adding another character's variables and such to the network traffic may overload a slower net connection. In other words, online is most likely optimized for one person per Wii, and having two people on one Wii online might be too much for all but the fastest connections. It depends on how they do the network code--if they use a large volume of information (like memory dumps) to keep up with lag, two characters might be too much.

(Edited out stupid comment made before I read up on recent happenings of today)

However, I would expect the TC's question to happen. That'd be pretty gay if it didn't.

I would hope so it would be kind of stupid if you had two people at one spot and both wouldn\'t be able to play online i would assume that if you have more than one person on the wii then you will be able to play online.

I know you can play split screen on Halo online. You can also do 4-player online co-op, with at least 2 people on each console (I haven't tried it with 3 people or more on one console). I don't know about Call of Duty. The idea is very plausible for Brawl, but Brawl will have more networking issues than those other games due to its extremely twitchy, fast-paced nature.

huh
yeah, what would be awesome-er-er that if at 1's house, 2 is also playing with 1 and could play teamed against A and B. No offense, but next time, make a statement less related to algebra :p

To answer your question, it would be stupid if you couldn't do it.

But will it happen is the real questions. They might not even think about it.

E-mail Nintendo, the games still in development, right? (good luck >_>)

Playing online "with a guest" is my favorite feature in Mario Strikers, so I can't really see them leaving it out. If they did, it would kind of suck. It would be pretty fun to pit myself and my brother against our cousins without actually being anywhere near each other.
