well some would say that there is a specific yoshi who appears in all the games and is the one mario is friends with rather than a random yoshi each time, which the fans would reffer to as the yoshi

In the Mario Fandom as far as I know there's two main Yoshis.

The one in SMW being about Mario's age, seen hatching at the end of Yoshi's Island DS and the one from Yoshi's Island who caught Baby Mario.

Yoshi's Story, Wooly World and Crafted World don't fit neatly into any kind of continuity so are mostly treated as their own things.

Putting lore aside though, I think Yarn Yoshi would be better suited to a semi-clone. His skeleton's just too different to be an Echo.

Yeah, off the top of my head, it would be Down B=Mole, Up B=Plane, Side B=Motorbike, Neutral B=Wool Ball Lay and Final Smash=Mega Yoshi
