Chef Kawasaki is a reoccurring character in the Kirby series. His most iconic appearance (IMO) was in Kirby Super Star/ KSSU. He also had a role in the Kirby anime, Kirby Right Back at Ya!

ARGUMENTS:
1. Kirby has enough reps!
Although this is true, a lot of series are in a similar situation. DKC and Metroid are the only ones that don't have enough "reps".
2. Kawasaki isn't important to Kirby!
Maybe not, but majority of Kirby characters are either one offs (Prince Fluff, Adeline) or are in a similar situation as Kawasaki, being reoccurring but generally have minor roles (Knuckle Joe, Bonkers). Plus, he did have a semi-major role in the anime, so he holds some significance.
3. Sakurai is modest!
Maybe a little, but people tend to stretch this a bit much. Dedede was planned for 64, but was cut due to time constraints. Dedede was also the back up plan if IS didn't allow Marth in Melee. And then in Brawl, he added Dedede AND Meta Knight, gave Kirby THE lead role in SSE, AND gave Dedede and MK major roles in said mode, which would have been larger roles had the "Taking Over the Halberd" scene been included.

Chef Kawasaki, chef of Dreamland, joins the fray!
N Special: Plate Toss: Kawasaki throws a plate. Occasionally, he throws three instead.
S Special: Pie Dash: Kawasaki holds a pie and lunges forward. Those who come in contact are slowed down for a bit of time.
U Special: Curry Jump: Kawasaki eats some spicy curry, which makes him jump. While jumping, he spews fireballs.
D Special: Pepper Pillar: Kawasaki tosses a pepper. When the pepper hits the ground or a foe, it turns into a fiery pillar.
FS: Food Giveaway: Kawasaki tosses out food. Most of which are poisonous.

I like the idea, Kirby reps are always great.
I think some more info should be added to the OP though, like say a picture.

If he is in, he should haw the voice actor from the anime.

EDIT: oh wait, the voice actor was a woman. Who has a sex change to a man. And then died.
So that's one dream killed.

I just imagine other characters like Bandana Dee or Magolor being playable before Kawasaki, but hypothetically speaking if Kirby had his Final Smash changed like to say Crash, Kawasaki could inherit the Final Smash as his move as an Assist Trophy.

First off, I support. Second, his stage should be this:


Samurai Showdown
It's a plain stage, but occasionally a Waddle Doo or a Wheelie will appear to challenge the players, in which all on the ground must quickly press a corresponding button to knock them away. No platforms.

Hey guys, according to this list, how would Kawasaki's moveset be classified? (hybrid classes are possible):

Zoner - Character whose strength lies in forcing their opponent to stay in a certain area. Ex: :4marth:

Ranger - Character whose strength lies in their ranged attacks to force opponents to keep their distance. Ex: :4link:

Speedster - Character whose strength lies in their speed and ability to overwhelm their opponents with relentless attacks. Ex: :4pikachu:

Trickster - Character whose strength lies in a quirky moveset that is hard to predict and can alter the battle field. Ex: :4villager:

Bruiser - Character whose strength lies in devastating attacks to quickly finish off opponents. Ex: :4falcon:

Resistor - Character whose strength lies in super armor that allows them to tank hits to strike down opponents. Ex: :4bowser:

Puppeteer - Character whose strength lies in overwhelming opponents with relentless attacks stopping opponents from striking back. Strength in numbers. Ex: :rosalina:

Juggler - Character whose strength lies in being able to string combos together to finish off opponents. Ex: :4luigi:
