I just started playing online, and I don't know if it's better to use the keyboard, or to buy an adapter so I can use my controller. What are the advantages of each (specifically for DI, tech, short hop, tilt, fluidness, but really for everything)?

***Keyboard***
---Advantages---
Easy to DI out of combos
Easy to dash, pivot dash, etc.
Easy to perform a higher initial jump while running if you use 'up' instead of 'c buttons'

---Disadvantages---
Hard to get used to. (since some keyboards don't allow more than 2 keys to be pressed at the same time)
Difficult to use tilt attacks.
Difficult to use dair without fast falling.
Difficult to walk.

***Gamecube, Xbox 360, PS/PS2***
---Advantages---
Easy to get used to.
Practically the same advantages as the keyboard.

---Disadvantages---
Gamecube and PS/PS2 controllers require an adapter in order to be used.
The controller stick may be too sensitive and needs to be adjusted.
For the above reason you may accidentally jump while trying to use utilt or run while trying to walk.

***N64 Controller***
---Advantages---
Feels just like the original game. (but experience changes during netplay)
better precision to perform tilts and overall movement.

---Disadvantages---
Requires an adapter in order to be used.
For the above reason it needs to be calibrated in order for it to perform correctly.
Hard to DI out of combos but still possible.
The control stick tends to wear off quickly.

Get an N64 adapter if possible, so you wont feel awkward when you try to play on console
