So I have been having this problem for a while and have been unable to fix it. I have a relatively new controller that has been greased and has a good stick. Though the stick tightly snaps back into place like a new stick would and feels fine, it has issues when I go to the configure controller option on Windows. When I have the configure controller screen up, there is a box with a "+" is the middle. Moving the stick around moves the "+" as is should, EXCEPT when I lightly press up or down. In this case, the "+" spazzes out and rapidly moves between slightly North, mid-way North, and all the way North.
Does anyone know what is causing this and how to fix it? It screws up the gameplay as well by doing things like dropping off a ledgehog without me meaning to, doing running upairs instead of running upsmashes, not being able to ffall uairs, etc.
