I'm starting to play melee netplay and for some reason the controller is not working. I've donwloaded all of the necessary things for it to work on windows 10. It will register that its working on the gamecube USB adapter driver, but not registering in dolphin. I need help, and any is appreciated.

Controller not working on dolphin

I've had the same problem multiple times. Really, I don't understand why people don't just buy the Mayflash one, which has built in PC support. If you are using the Anther's Ladder build, then try it with direct connect and then without. But srsly, just get the Mayflash one. It has PC and Wii U support. The only flaw I can see with it is that the little slots for the GC ports to go in are loose and the ports slide out a lot. Hope I helped!
I also have the official Wii U USB adapter and mine works just fine. I had a similar problem when starting, so EVEN THOUGH IT'S 3 IN THE MORNING, I GUESS I'LL TRY TO FIGURE IT OUT AGAIN. FOR YOU. J/k, I have nothing going on tomorrow, who am I kidding? Let's take a look.
First question:
Are you seeing anybody?
No, I'm joking, the first question is "Do you have Dolphin 4.0-7840 installed?"
If not, do it. I had 4.0.2 initially and it was pretty much Clown Town. Unplayable for Melee Netplay.
Second question:
Do you have Zadig installed?
If not, do it. I'm no computer whiz from an 80s movie, but it's the program that lets your computer know it's got a controller plugged into it.
Third question:
Two-parter, watch out:
1. Did you calibrate your controller properly?
2. Did you activate the thingy before you started Dolphin? (it's 3 am. Give me a break on vocabulary)
Fifth question:
Tricked ya. It's the fourth question. Last one was a two-parter, remember. Keep up.
Does your Dolphin still read "Adapted not detected"?
Mine does too, but that doesn't mean it won't work. Try it out.
