What controller configs for Samus do you all use? Right now I've been using the default GC controller config, but I'm trying to figure out how helpful her Utilt can be in case I want to switch C-stick to "attack" instead of "smash". Any input?

Having it set to attack helps her dair a lot since she will not fast fall when you use it.

I play on the Classic Controller and have a very heavily customized control scheme.

A: Jump
B: Attack
Y: Special
X: Grab
Everything else is default.

Gamecube+100% default. I used Y as Special for a while to use missiles/charge shot asap out of a jump. It wasn't that useful, so I went back to default.

Gamecube, everything default, but Y as special as well. Makes FH double HM easier.

I actually have tap jump on. It allows for using screw attack out of the shield. Any time I need to press up to use an attack, I can simply use the c-stick equivalent.

Sorry if this is hijacking but am i getting screwed by using the nun chuck config? I use it without shake smashes and no tap jump on, but am i that disadvantaged without a C stick? The only thing i think hurts me too bad is with ZSS and her down smash is kinda slow and harder to do without one.

Interesting. I turned off the Tap Jump, because sometimes I cannot perform another u-air. I thought, "That's it. I'm going to try this without 'Tap Up' and see how well it works."
Oh, and X set to shield makes shielding faster and makes it easier to Zair with shield and A.

Maybe I should use my other GameCube controller and set X for shielding. The L button on that one causes me to have my shield up for less than a second, and then it stops. It's broken, I think.
