Controller Color Ideas?

Hey guys, I'm looking for help from someone a little more creative than me
I'm thinking of painting my gamecube controller a different color than normal. I want the design to fit around a dry bowser picture: http://www.mariowiki.com/images/6/65/Skelebowwii.PNG
Without the kart, of course. Any ideas?
Also if anyone feels like helping me render the kart out of that image, can you please help?

Also another idea I had was to make a fire and ice type scheme, with a hothead on one side and a freezie on the other.

you can make it flat white. I was thinking of using the b button as his eye and work around there. Something like a three quarters face.
