lol learn to LINK your vids

edit: I just finished watching your vids, both of you play at a pretty low skill level. I would suggest trying to play better people (perhaps online) in order to get better.

They were linked the whole time... Or was that a really cheesy pun? lol

Edit: online probably isn't happening so could you give some specifics to work on?

Wait... Vancouver BC or Vancouver Washington? If it's Vancouver BC, p2p is good... but why not actual in-person madness :p

Well... seeing as talking about p2p and stuff on someone else's topic would be considered as spam and going off-topic, I'll send you a pm :)

Wow this is terrible. There is a Falcon in every match (even falcon dittos) and never once does Falcon taunt cancel. Instant bad set.

jk :p

Your di on the Link vs Falcon match was pretty good (DI'd into the wall on the right side 4 or 5 times in a row).

Both of you could work on the timing of your Falcon Punches, and at what percents Dair-Falcon Punch works. There were many times you tried to Dair - Falcon Punch, but the opponent's damage was way too low for it to work.

Other than that, can't think of much to say. Good matches :)

What characters do you guys play as? Does Outro only play Falcon?

Ya Outro and I just started trying to finish with punches, before it was mostly just spikes and up b finishes. Not sure why we didn't before. I think Outro was just experimenting with dair > punch in those matches :p.

I'm not sure who my main is, it use to be kirby but I think I'm graduating from.. that level so I'm leaning towards Pikachu/Falcon as my main but its hard to tell because Pikachu has big match up advantages. My link is alright, I play a grabby DK, and a decently spaced samus.

Outro doesn't really know his main either. I'd say he's best with falcon and luigi but his pikachu and link are close too.

Thanks for the comments.

Evident u have a pretty good pikachu, but ur combos are like clockwork. You need to mix it up.

It's hard to tell how good you are with Pikachu because Outro just lets you get him into the same combo over and over again and dies without even trying to escape it. Can you do anything interesting with Pika outside the **** tent?

Anyway, you're pretty decent with your combos, but you need work on your basic movement and approach skills. You lack the kind of silky smooth movement around the stage that is characteristic of high level play. This is the kind of stuff that is borne from intimately understood timings deeply ingrained into muscle memory. I also see a lack of mind games - it doesn't help that Outro just kind of walks into everything that you do.

This is the kind of stuff that you will improve most easily simply by playing a greater pool of people. Getting online play setup would probably be the most realistic way to do this. Speaking of which, if you do get p2p set up then be sure to hit me up on AIM for a few matches ;D

you guys arnt bad. you gotta learn to escape those combos though. i'd stick with pika and with falcon you should be tryna spike more.
entertaining to watch though! :D

thanks for the comments. I think what's going on here is a lack of mind games. Simply because we only play against ourselves, our games are tuned to each other's playstyle, instead of a lot of different playstyles, therefore we don't really rely on mindgames.

I'm going to try to set up online.

I would actually say it's because of Outro's lack of control of his character compared to your own, and his spacing is also far inferior to yours so he runs into stuff you're simply doing on habit (and thus don't need to think about mindgames for).

yallz should play me and see what happens...
Just be sure not to use that bad controller of yours.

Your videos are entertaining. I can't give advice as I'm not a high enough level to give any. But if you do get p2p we should play sometime.
