Console Conflict

I am having a difficult time decing which 2 next-gen consoles to get.
The games i am most looking forward to are Final Fantasy 13, Final Fantasy Versus 13, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of The Patriots, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy. There are other franchises I like such as the Ratchet & Clank series, but I can take them or leave them. My budget only allots for 1 console this year and another sometime next year. My plan is to get a Wii this Year and a PS3 in 2008. I think this is a good plan, but I am unsure of myself. What do you think I should do?

seems fine to me, since i'm pretty sure all those PS3 games you want are coming out in 08 and the wii gamesw are coming out in a few months.

if you don't have the wii they you should get it first because it pwnz all of the other new gen consolesXP and for next year, if it were me, i would get the 360 cause of halo3 and some other games..

Get an Xbox 360, we have alot of the PS3 exclusives anyways (GTA 4 - Exclusive DLC, Devil May Cry 4 and rumors that MGS4 GOTP is coming out to the 360 a year after it is released on the 360). Or get a Wii for SSBB Wifi action!
