Long-term he's not going to drop out of High-Tier. Yes, if other characters magically learned how to use Bananas effectively, that'd suck, the the fact of the matter is that we're the ones who control the Bananas in the first place. Unless they can learn how to spawn them against us (lol), we'll remain high-tier.

Diddy has several difficult matchups that people don't have a lot of experience with. Most of them are merely kept in check by MK. If Diddy actually was an issue, you'd see a surge of Luigi/Peach secondaries and the like.

While it is doubtful he'll ever leave high tier, given Diddy mains rising popularity and the slowing of growth, you can expect that people are becoming more comfortable with the matchup. Diddy falling to 4th or 5th wouldn't be unheard of.

Actually, we've been discovering more in the past month than we have in the past year; our growth has only been rising, and by a huge amount.

That really sucks for you then, because I was referring to growth as in tournament placements / points. That's been slowing.

Lol but here's what ur missing OS, diddy's potential is still growing... much like how ic's did... when their cg was 1st discoverd and barley used they didn't just jump up in the tier list.... ic mains kinda had to unlock their potential and show ppl what they can really do... much like diddy they have been consitantly rising and r finally a tier [exactly where they should be]... diddy's potential is still growing... with 2 new infinites [the dribble lock is easy stuff] diddys just need to adjust and figure how to add and setup these to their gameplay and its just another trick up their sleeve that can be a death combo... there's more than just that [that was just a good example]... and I think there's even more to diddy that we r missing... diddy is going to stay 3... he's a fantastic character and is evolving more and more as brawl goes on...
