Combos with weak bairs.

Hey guys,

at the moment I am trying to improve my combo / executing game in general. And there is one thing I always wanted to learn: Armada and other Peach players use a weak bair or even a weak reverse bair to get one more hit on their combo. Something like dtilt -> weak bair -> nair or so. I didnt find a video to show it but I think most peach players will know what I mean.

So I was wondering... in which situation do these combos work? And what are the usual set ups? I'd be also very glad if someone knows a video where I can see those combos in an actual match. That would be very great.

around the 3:13 I do it to PP. You can use it when they think you're going to nair/fair them after a dash attack/dtilt because they'll be holding up and in. I find it easiest to use when they are in front of you and you bair, so the the hitbox is in her torso and you carry them with your momentum and you can nair them.

I feel like me/armada/vanz are the only ones who really do it all that often and it's pretty situational so it doesn't get recorded all that often.

If someone wants to experiment to find the parameters of when the bair will send them forward that would be helpful

I see many different Peach players use this "Inverse" bair. Besides Mistgun I also saw Ares from Vienna do it. I really need to learn how to use this :D

Mistgun is a refreshingly decent peach player. Weak bair->Nair doesn't work on certain people because they DI out on reaction, since you have to pop the bair so early. A ton of people use this after armada showed it at Genesis 2, just most of them aren't recorded.

Anyways after I wake up from bed I can pull up a couple matches where armada took it a step further, using djc weak bairs in the middle to extend combos. All the bad peaches (everyone who isn't armada) only use it to weak bair->nair since it's so easily set up.

Also DoH that combo you linked is JANK. I appreciated the uptilt though, never figured out how to use it in gameplay ever.

it's good catching people who jump out of shield when you land on it with a dair and they can't sheild grab you
