Coding problems...

Alright, I have this problem that I can't seem to fix. Every time (or 99.9% of the time) I go on wi-fi and try to play a match, ( via my friend roster or "with anyone" mode) it de-syncs me. I have no idea what is the problem as the only thing that I know of that causes de-syncing is move-set swaps/hacking, but I don't have any move-set hacks.

The codes I'm using are: file replacement, SD loader, shield color, allow more than 1000 replays, default settings modifier, and Allow replays longer than 3 minutes. I would post the codes but I really don't want to make this post obnoxiously big

Could someone help? :dizzy:

I actually have the exact same problem, and have pretty much the same codes you have.
I tried defragmenting/formating my SD card, and so far it seems to work but Im really not sure what causes it.

hmm...well I'm glad that I'm not the only one that has experienced this problem.
Excuse my ignorance, but what exactly is formating your SD card? Maybe I'll try it and see if it clears something up.

Take all your data off your SD card, put it in your comp. Right click your SD card. Click Format. Then move your data back.

Really, if you don't want any wifi problems, just turn ocarina off when you want to go wifi. It's what I do.

Okay, after re-formatting my SD card, I can now play on "with anyone" , which is good.
Via my friend roster, I tested out playing against a friend 1vs1, No de-sync, it made me happy ^_^

But, We let a 3rd join the room, and that match de-synced... Does anyone know my problem?

Are you all using the same codeset, and do you all have the same files in your pf folder on the sd card? That sometimes causes problems if you don't.

as far as I know they don't have hacked wii's.

But, I only have codes that cause cosmetic changes, nothing that would change gameplay (like no tripping).

That might be why. Using any codes while playing with someone on a non-hacked Wii has a possibility of de-syncing (at least, last time I checked it did).

So even if I only have textures on my wii, It could still de-sync?

However, before I had this problem I had textures and I could play without de-syncs. But, I didn't need my coding anymore so I just started new, and now I have this problem.

I'm assuming it might be my coding then, maybe I'm using an outdated code? Or could motionEtc cause this? I'm using a few of those.

Sorry for the double post/bump but I'm actually in desperate need of help. Can anyone explain my problem? I really want to save longer replays when on Wi-fi.
