Closest place to 29 palms?

What's the closest place to 29 palms to play melée? Willing to drive 2-3 hours for weekends. Played brawl like 5 times I can't adapt. Sry for starting a new thread but not familiar with the area

welcome to socal. unfortunately you're right up by J-tree which means you're in an awesome rock climbing and backpacking region, but have no smash anywhere nearby haha. If you're willing to drive 3 hours you can make it to pretty much anywhere in SoCal. San Bernandino and Riverside would be your two closest counties, then probably LA, Orange, and SD in that order.
