I tested it with my younger brother, he trying to mash out and otherwise escape the DHGR -> Footstool, but he could never escape it.
Don't take my word for it's status of 'inescapable by MK' or otherwise though.

Was he DI'ing? If you hold left or right I think it makes a difference. Can anyone who knows about this post please?
I got him to do everything I could think of to get out of it.
I'll retest it, but I'm pretty sure we figured out that it was inescapable.

Okay I figured what I was doing wrong. You have to hold the direction that you side b grabbed him and then mash jump when you get out. I was just mashing jump.
