sorry if someone already posted this topic

With Ness confirmed (somewhat) I remembered one thing; SSBB was said to have no clones.
But since Lucas has a lot of Ness' moves, wouldn't that make one of them technical clones?

Please post your thoughts on this matter. If their is a similar post, I'm sorry.

In addition to all that post, both PK fires are different as Lucas's explodes, while Ness's traps them in a pillar.

Freeze is very different from Flash as it is very fast and is not an KO move(At least I don't think it is) like Flash is.

Lucas's Thunder goes in a smaller arc than Ness's did.

Magnet only protects one side for Lucas, while Ness's protects his whole body.

I think that they'll change his B moves, maybe they'll give him PK Teleport and it could work like Fox's Ilusion but with knockback just at the end...?

They need to make him very different, not a Luigified clone!

Where did he say this exactly?

Cause I'm pretty sure he didn't. People just misconstrued something he said.
Exactly. All that was said was that returning characters are getting significant changes to their movesets.

But Ness and Lucas have mostly completely different A moves. The only thing they might share are B moves, and even then we dont know if they gave Ness new specials...

Already they are even more different from each other than Mario and Luigi were in Melee, so Lucas will be a luigified Ness at best.
