In Super Smash Bros. Melee any stages that carried over from the original smash were secret stages. For brawl we've already seem Final Destination and since they've announced it we assume it will be a starter stage. My question is do you think there will be other stages carried over from Melee that you start with or will they be listed as "classic stages" and be unlockable?

It's very likely. I think many of the popular Melee stages as well as even the popular N64 stages will make returns.

To be honest, I think there will be fewer stages than people expect, maybe 35 or so, because of the Stage Builder/stage download. That will cover "more" stages.

I'm expecting Pokemon Stadium 1 to come back so the newbies know why there is a Pokemon Stadium 2. None of the substages in two use the same element as in Melee.

hyrule temple MUST come back
Dreamland.
I really expect both of those, but Hyrule Temple will hopefully have a few "changes" or at least changes in the physics so you can't get infinite combos bouncing opponents in circles.

That is the only stage I have ever gotten a person to 999%

And this one ^ since you can't really make that and it still fits in the game.

I don't know, whatever they don't bring back I'll try my hardest to re-make in stage builder.

Battlefield was carried over...not FD.
But yeah, I hope Hyrule Temple comes back, and Fountain of Dreams too.

Putting in all the stages from N64 would cost them nothing, they can be easily ported.

Besides those I want to see Pokemon Stadium 1, Temple, Yoshi's Story and Poke Floats return.

Haha big blue would be really nice this time! Because now we have many characters with multi-jumps and it would be awesome if all characters "fly" around and hit each others ^^

Being alonesomeness in Long Beach, CA.
My prediction on returning Melee stages(though somewhat hopeful)

-Peach's Castle (for the nostalgia factor)
-Great Bay (the design+turtle is fun...)
-Fountain of Dreams (maybe with a more epic remix)
-Mute City (it's more of a mascot F-Zero stage than Big Blue, imo)
-Pokemon Stadium (could be retitled Pokemon Stadium 1 as mentioned before)
-Brinstar Depths (I liked Kraid...)
-Fourside (If Saffron City doesn't make an appearance!)

Well what if they brought back ... ALL STAGES!!!!

Though I don't think it will happen with all this be stored on 1 disc. Though that would be AWESOME!

It would be nice if they included Fountain of Dreams as one of the classics, maybe even re-mixing the awesome music from the stage.
