Smash Wii U Classic Mode Freeze

So I was playing SSBU Classic Mode having a good time, when all of a sudden I spot a 4x Custom part in the roulette leading up to Master + Crazy Hand. I managed to get it, but the game froze (it was co-op classic mode). Has anybody else experienced similar issues with group classic/all star mode or freezes in general?

I have two questions: Is your version the downloadable version or the hard copy. And is this happening consistently?
