CLASH Tournaments & SmashBoards Bring You Exclusive E3 Coverage

CLASH Tournaments is here in Los Angeles, California for the E3 Media expo! We're having Chibo, special guest Keitaro and myself covering Smash Brothers this week. The action starts tomorrow at 9:00 AM PDT with the Nintendo Direct and then in the late afternoon at 4:00 PM PDT will be the Nintendo Smash Brothers Invitational Tournament where 16 players across the world will be competing in the first EVER Smash 4 tournament. EXCITING! CLASH Tournaments will be providing exclusive content throughout this week with written content here at Smashboards and video content over at our YouTube Channel.

I could picture Obama playing as Olimar, Oprah playing as Jigglypuff, Matt Smith playing as Olimar, and Beyonce playing as Goku.

Tournament time baby! Should be amusing to see some of the players adapt to whatever controllers being used for the tournament and seeing any pros wipe the floor with the newcomer characters should be fun as well! The only thing that would make this tournament PERFECT is if Reggie or Masahiro Sakurai himself were the final opponent for whoever makes it to the final round!

See if Smash 4 is going to add an option to the custom controls screen for the GCC controllers (via adapter) to make Shield inputs (like Shield and Air dodge) all light press rather than all hard press (like Brawl did).

Brawl went against almost every Gamecube game released by having everything hard press rather than light press. Even when you use Brawl's customization screen to change the shoulder button to a different action like Attack or Jump, it ironically puts it on light press.
