Yeah...I'm more used to Doc's WD...I'll also admit that my SHL needs a little work...is it just me, or is it too high and a little slow?

btw...I do know the adv techs, but like I said, I'm more accostumed to Doc...

Yeah...I'll need to check out the guides when I get a chance...btw, what would y'all recommend for practicing...I live in the country, so I don't get a lot of human competition...

Your shuffles don't look like they're being fast-falled. Against DK, you want to be moving around a lot more because grab = death. Shl's need to be fast-falled as well. Less dairs, more grabs.

Yeah...I need to get back to practicing >_<...I've got a tourney tomorrow...thankfully, my only competition is a missle-spamming friend of mine...shouldn't be too hard...as long as I choose to ban FD, I'll be fine (platforms would help...flat terrain, not so much:p)...

Pokemon Stadium is usually worse against missile spammers than Final Destination.

Thankfully, he doesnt' know that...he always bans it (he hates it with a passion, and isn't that wise with stage selection)...and if he doesn't, I will...

@Captainlukey: thanks, man! I think I'm ready;)...like I said, this is at school, so I won't exactly be fighting Tope:laugh:

btw...is there a particular stage that's good for fighting missile spammers? I'm thinking BF or FoD, but I'm not that smart with stage selection...any advice?

cinder,
i think maybe u should be using this time to find your center,
uve would have obviously been practicing...
so just go with the physical training you have now...
and let your mind swim to the furtherst reaches of the cosmos...
meditate if you have to... but make sure you are mentally in the rite place cause thats just as important if not more important than actuall skills...
be focused...

and against missle spammage...
i dont ussually have trouble with missile spammers, so i ussually just pick FD,
but anything with platforms will probly be better for you and still cause hell for your opponant, so maybe kirbys DL,
soz i cant help more man, i just dont have trouble with missile spammers that often...

You should never counterpick Dreamland against Samus unless you're very good at using the platforms there.

How 'bout BF and Yoshi's Story? btw...I spent the last several hours practicing on FoD...I think I can handle the platforms;)...

The way I see it, he's gonna ban PS, and I'm banning FD, so the two hardest missle spammer stages are gone...unless there's another stage that's harder to deal with a missle spammer on...

yoshi story is a good counterpick in my opinion since its small and you cant really missle spam much good for comboing with falco too FoD is alright but you still might have a little trouble

Well, it doesn't matter now...the tourney never really happened (it was a FFA, and I don't do FFAs), but we did "grudge matches" afterwards, and I took on some innocent n00b who kept saying he could beat me for the past few days...I *****...it would've been a four-stock, but I wasn't in the zone at the beginning...meh...I won, so what the hell?

Ok first of all, more lasers. Second, never use upsmash for falco. Third, down throws are easily techable. Fourth and final, your SHFFL'd d airs really don't seem to lead to anything. Pillars from d airs is a falco staple.

Alot of the same

Work on getting some consistant 2-3 hit combos in training mode from your upthrow on Fox, and then on Marth.

Work on your movement. Wavedash out of shine, and wave land, and running around doing SHL variations (RSHL, double jump fastfall double laser, FH3L, running SHLs especially).

Othwerise it's just experience. Oh yeah work on your DI.

Aight, here's my n00b question for the day: what does the R in RSHL stand for? I'd think running, but if it is, technomancer just said it twice...reverse maybe? And FH3L (something about a triple laser I guess?)

Learn to wavedash out of shines, Fastfallers can be comboed with just that until about 45-60%

That gives you a good advantage in falco dittos, falco vs fox and falco vs falcon

More grabs and Dashdances

also, MOAR TAUNT

lol good luck, You're on your way

the R stands for reverse...
the fh3l is full hop triple lasers...
thats about it i think...
and a little help with the full hop triples is that press b the first time BEFORE you hit the peak of your jump...
hope that helps

Obviously you don't keep up with the Atlantic North Smashers...Tope is in the Top 15 (I think), and he's number eight in Virginia (I think...there's a thread for it, but I haven't seen it in a while)...here're the vids from the finals of the tourney he hosted in September...
