My nephew tried taking on 3 Level 9 random CPUs in Brawl. They were all Diddy Kong.

Rest'ing my friend four times in a row and hooting like the gibbons in victory. His parents asked him to not invite me over anymore.

Mostly during funny events and incidents.
  • My little brother once picked up a Superspicy Curry while inside my Gardevoir's shield. You can imagine what happened.
  • I was playing on Norfair once when someone knocked a Soccer Ball into the rising lava. The lava repeatedly shot the Soccer Ball into the air, killing multiple people.
  • Any time someone gets stuck between two bumpers.
  • I was cornering an opponent with a Fire Flower once. Suddenly, a Blast Box spawned right between us and we both died instantly.
  • Any time I would toss a Barrel Cannon at someone and have them tumble off the stage with it.
  • Getting Level 9 CPUs to kill themselves.
  • Using Ice Climber's Final Smash on Rumble Falls (the only fun that can come out of that stage).
  • Breaking Jigglypuff's shield.
  • Killing someone with Wobbuffet.
  • Somebody pulling off a powerful attack like a fully charged Super Scope, only for it to be blocked by a random Mr. Saturn.

This is why I love playing with items on.

*whenever marth does critical in the air and kills himself
*game and watch getting the smash ball for some tentacle ****
*JIGGELYJIGGELYJIGGELY
*puff up
*basically anything with jiggs
*many of these arent that funny
*First time i beat subspace
*unplugging my neice's controller, putting her char on computer, and her thinking she is amazing

Me and my friend played Melee and he (as Falco) apparently footstooled me (Ice Climbers) into the right pit in Mushroom Kingdom II within 4 seconds of starting the match. We also spent a large amount of time as Mario & Luigi (respectively) repeating "BALLZ" loudly as we threw Poke Balls at each other. And that was yesterday.

I was playin smash 64 before I could read.
I ALWAYS pressed the memory clear button on accident. (couldn't read)
I never figured out that unlocking the characters just required you to beat the game with each character. I never wanted to play as anyone besides Fox. I remember playing it almost daily with the girl next door for a year. Farthest I got as a kid was unlocking Luigi (no Ness) and I usually accidentally pressed the memory clear button by that point and lost all the characters I unlocked.
I always refused to play on any difficulty below normal, and if I lost a match I would restart from the beginning. I hated using continues for some reason. Samus and the Mario & Luigi duo were f#@#$#@ impossible to beat. I only lost to the neighbor girl twice. She deserves a medal for never rage quitting, the smash spirit was strong with her. I speculated that the silhouette of Ness was Toad. I was super dissapointed when I finally unlocked Ness, until I realized how unique and cool his moveset was. PK FIRE SPAM!
In race to the finish, the scariest sh$# was when you moved onto the next level, but the polygon from the previous level caught up with you. In race to the finish, The funniest sh%$ was watching the cpu get caught in one of the level traps like the exploding mines or bumpers.
Man... good times. Now I remember what I did before internet.

I Played Super Smash Bros for the N64. Then I heard Brawl was coming out.........It took me 3 or 2 years to find out there was a smash games before brawl and after the First. Which is also why I don't think that Melee is the Best Smash Game Ever and that Brawl is a Pile of Poo. Instead, I Love all 3 Games Equally, Sadly, no way I'll love smash 4 equally compared to the past 3, I'll Love it more! :awesome:

Once I was playing Smash with my brother and brother in law, my BIL was using R.O.B and did a final smash. As R.O.B was going around the screen shooting lasers my brother just started yelling "zoid zoid zoid zoid zoid zoid zoid zoid zoidzoidzoizoidzoidzoidzoidzoid!" I think I find it funny for the fact it came right out of nowhere.

I think my most memorable moment was when I opened the Brawl game, and slid it right into my Wii. I was immediately drawn to Lucas, due to him looking so similar to Ness. I used to use Ness ALL THE TIME when I was younger in 64 and Melee. I realized Lucas was also from Earthbound, and got to playing as him. I fell in love with him, and to this day, still use him frequently. Anyway, I was playing as Lucas and the Challenger Approaching Screen appeared with Ness's silhouette. I flipped out, and quickly beat him with Lucas, unlocking him. Then I realized that I actually liked Lucas more than Ness, so I decided to play as him more. I ended up unlocking all of the characters via VS. Mode in two days just using Lucas.

A close second would be unlocking Mewtwo in Melee, but that's another story.

It was back in the days where me and my brother played one of our million C. Falcon vs Ganondorf fights on FD in Melee. For once, we had set items on, just for some extra flavor. A Warp Star spawned, and me being Captain Falcon I obviously had the speed advantage over Ganondorf. I flew up in the air, and everything became silent for a second. Ganondorf just barely got to make him jump sound before I came plummeting down on him, flying outside of FD and down into my death, while Ganondorf was spiked down into FD somehow, all while C. Falcon and Ganon screamed like no tommorow. I had no idea at that point that you could fly outside of the stage with the warp star, so not only did that shock me, but that short period of silence being interrupted by Ganon screaming like no tommorow while Falcon plummeted to his doom, it was so hilarious to witness, me and my brother were both pissing our pants in laughter.

That, and Dedede's reveal on the Brawl Dojo are the moments I can remember where I've had the most joy out of Smash Bros. I hope a potential Ridley reveal can make me more giddy than ever.

There was this one time that we discovered you could spawn a crazy amount of items with Olimar and Kirby. Have Kirby get his final smash, dodge it, then have Olimar spam his Pikmin Pluck and you'll get like fifteen Pikmin in the pot which results in a ton of fire/healing/other items.

  1. Playing SSB64 for the first time - it was just unreal. I had no idea how they were able to come up with such a brilliant concept. While normal Fighting Games were centered around damage, ssb was centered around knockback.
  2. The use of pokeballs - that feeling when you managed to grab a pokeball before your opponents, and you knew that they'd be up for a serious whooping. In ssb64 the pokeballs were well-balanced and fun to use. In Melee they were ok. In Brawl they completely sucked. I mean, getting a legendary in Brawl is almost like getting a Goldeen. 90% of them are piss-easy to avoid. Give us pokeballs like they were in ssb64 for SSB4, please.
  3. Melee - Wow. Talk about a sequal. This game took most of the stuff you loved in the first game and multiplied it tenfold. A fast-paced gameplay were offense payed off.

One of my favorite smash Memories has to be one summer we (my brother and I) set up shop out in a tent just outside out house extension cord running to the tent TV and Nintendo 64 hooked up two of our friends down camping out (kinda) playing Smash and having a laugh. We were out in that tent every night for like a week it was a great time. Now I just like getting drunk with friends and playing smash.
