Cheat Manager Problem

I'm sure some of you may know of this, it's mentioned in UTDZac's Music Swap thread.

And it's not to be confused with the CODE Manager.

It's a program that allows you to access and edit your codes through the HBC (and putting the codes in the txtcodes folder of the SD card) without having to use the PC.

Now, I have a bit of a problem. I uploaded the Brawl+ codeset in the txtcodes folder and I can access the cheats through there just fine

However, I uploaded the Balanced Brawl codeset in the txtcodes folder but when I go to it it reads as "empty."

Why is that?

I will post a video of what I mean if it's needed.

the cheat manager(on the HBC) has a very strict way of reading the text files. try finding a difference between the brawl+ text file and the balanced brawl text file. The cheat manager won't even read the text file if it isn't formatted properly.
btw, is the brawl+ text file still readable or is it the manager says the whole folder is empty and you can no longer access the brawl+ text file.

then there is something different in how the balanced brawl text file is formatted and how the Brawl+ text file is. try looking for anything different between the two and change the balanced brawl text file accordingly. it might take a while, but i think that might fix your problem.

What's ANSI?
Its an encoding type. its just a way for the file to be saved. when your saving your text file, below the file name and file type there will be an encoding tab. open it and there will be ANSI, unicode, unicode big endian, and UTF-8. most programs reconize the ANSI encoding so you should make that the default encoding type.

File -> Save As

There should be an Encoding dropdown box in addition to the file name and file type. I had this same issue when I first got Cheat Manager and this fixed it.

I tried it, the codes show up in cheat manager, but I cannot select them.

The only codes I can select are Custom Stage Select, Debug Pause, Frame Advance, and Extended Masterpieces
.

=/

Nevermind, fixed.
