Charity Event: 72-Hour Mega Man Marathon

TheSpeedGamers are at it again, this time with a 72-hour Mega Man marathon. TheSpeedGamers are a group of people who do gaming marathons for charity. They complete a game series as quickly as possible in the time they give themselves. During the marathon, they accept donations for various charities. In the past they've played 12 marathons and have raised over $83,000. The marathon begins tomorrow, August 14th, at 6pm cst. This marathon will be benefiting The Earth Day Network. Here is a list of the games being played:

Mega Man 1-3
Mega Man 4-6
Mega Man 7-8
Mega Man 9
Mega Man 64 (Legends)
Mega Man Legends 2
Mega Man and Bass
Mega Man X-X3
Mega Man X4-X6
Mega Man X7
Mega Man X8
Mega Man X Command Mission
Mega Man Network Transmission
Mega Man Battle Network 3 Blue
Mega Man Zero 1-4

Other games may be played or replayed with spare time.

Have they done a Mario speed run?

Still can't comprehend how someone finished Mario 64 in under 20 mins. Unbelievable, I put hours into that game lol.

You do the stair long jump glitch, I got to see a person speed run Mario 64 live but it took him about 40 minutes.

It lets you pretty much teleport through the star doors (so you don't need to actually get stars). It also lets you get past the infinite stairs.

You do the stair long jump glitch, I got to see a person speed run Mario 64 live but it took him about 40 minutes.

Ahhh a glitch, no wonder lol, I mean it would be impossible to do it normally under 2 hours let alone 20 mins.

Gotta youtube it.

They have multiple players, and they have it all worked out so they do get to sleep while other people are playing.
