What do you think? I think Luigi is probably one of the best wavedashes, hands down.

For DD I would say Fox/Falcon/Pika.

What do you think?

The great Hakkat has returned!

DD goes to Marth Hands down, perfect for his spacing and his ridiculous grab range. Plus you can't tell which way that ******* is looking.

xD I'm not that great!

And yes, I totally forgot about Marth. Epic Fail. Is Pika's good? I always love to play with characters with a good DD. I love messing around with it to annoy people xD

Best Wavedashes go to characters with low traction and a short jump start up. Fox probably has the best combination of both.

Luigi's Wavedash is okay since its length super compensates for his slow jump.

Luckily for you I've just recently picked up pika as a main! Can't really tell if his wd is good or not cus I only use it to dodge, edge hog, grab, and d-smash. But since he is so fast his dd works well, you can bait your opponent into committing an attack.

I meant Pika's DD, lol. But I bet his wavedash is pretty good, I don't wavedash a lot unless I'm using a really good WD character. But nice! Pika is awesome :)

Yeah, I like Squirtle's shellshift, but I love Pika for his DD and speed.

I like Meta Knight's DD. No idea how "good" it is since I haven't used him seriously or played against any humans, but it feels great to do.

"Best wavedash" is kinda subjective because it depends on what you're using it for.

If you just want mobility and distance out of it then Luigi and Lucas are good candidates.

But there's plenty of other uses for other characters like just stopping your momentum from a full dash so you can turn around faster(cuts out a LOT of unnecessary animation time), cancelling some moves with jumps and therefore wavedashes (shine, quick attack, shields, Sonic's old side B "RIP", Ike's Side B, etc)

DD definitely goes to Marth though hands down.

Lol. I love MK's DD it does feel very good to perform.

I'm gonna go with Marth/Fox/Falcon/Pika/MK. Feel free to disagree, lol.

wavedash, probably Luigi or Lucas, etc.

Squirtle's DD is pretty bad though. Although repeated turnarounds (shellshifts) can be decent as a substitute.
i meant his wavedash that thing is further than luigi's

oh right i was including his "advanced technique" wavedashing since it could go 3/4 of wd i think?
Waveslinging:

What it does: Make's you slide farther after wavedashing
How it is done: Run in either direction > input a pivot > immediately wavedash in either direction

This basically is an idea I got from shellslinging. It uses the initial momentum of his pivot to make him slide more. The makes his wavedash move about 3/4 of FD if you time it perfectly. The frame you want seems to be the third or fourth frame of the pivot animation.
ye this guy
