This is the first big project that the Smash Lab will be tackling. The project will consist of thoroughly researching each and every character in the game and releasing "official" data. But before we even begin this project, there are a few things that we need to iron out, first:
1. There are quite a few things that we could be potentially researching. So we must first figure out, specifically, what data we will be researching for every character.
2. WE NEED THIS TO BE READABLE BY A MASS AUDIENCE INCLUDING CASUAL PLAYERS. As much as I'm sure we all love reading dense threads filled to the brim with numbers, we need a template that is easy to read, informative, and holds people's attention. Videos are also incredibly useful, so we may want to figure out if we should do something with videos, too.
3. Who will we start with? I'm inclined to say we make our way down the tier list for the order of characters.
4. Who will be doing what? Will this be a community project where everyone contributes where possible, or will we have assigned some people to specific data, and place a "due date" on researching X characters in Y days? Obviously these assignments shouldn't be strict by any means, but, for example, if we have one person researching the jab frame data for the first 10 characters we research, then that could serve as an effective means to finish as many characters as possible.
I will possibly add more to this later, but this is a tentative list of what we need to figure out before the project even begins.
