here are some predictions and possibilities
#1 Peppy Hare and Slippy Toad
we need a new star fox fighter and it makes sense to add in the nut jobs of the bunch as a duo like duck hunt duo, these duo fighters could be called Star Fox Duo to short it down, although they would be better of as an assist trophy.
likely ratio 4/10 (not that likely)
#2 Sigurd
Sakurai has many surprises so like smash 4, we could another fire emblem character alongside chrom. this would be Sigurd from fire emblem 4.
a new boss could be Manfroy or Arvis. both are big villans throughout the game and generations. but some people only remember this for the first generations ending (i dunno)
6/10 somewhat likely
#3 Dark Link (echo fighter of Toon Link)
this could be a echo fighter for Toon link. dark link might have some moves to do with smoke. but otherways. not very likely
3/10 very unlikely
#4 Walugi
if Sakurai pulls the trigger, we might just get him. but we could wait and see
#5 Crash Bandicoot
final pick: due to the licencing, its more than possible as we could get the 3rd new series beside castlevania and splatoon. nintendo and sony could work on an agreement to put him in.
8/10 pretty likely
