I just stumbled across this last night, there is an option to turn it off, not sure if this is a disadvantage for team battles, but I love that it probably only affects your 3DS so it won't affect other people's preference. It's a smart implementation for a handheld system. I just personally like it off cuz then I can dream that it's the wiiU version :)

Yeah, this was confirmed in a super old pic of the day I think, but it's neat nonetheless.

I'll probably be fiddling trying it out when I get the game (Which I can't because it ain't out yet in Australia, give us another few hours).

Mine's goin' OFF, cause I just don't like the cel-shaded look that has outlines.

I prefer jetsetradio/wind waker cel shade style.

I turned mine on thick. It's easier to see characters from far away distances and with it off the games models don't look as good.

I keep mine on because in team battle i dont like at damage % plus team battle you can be any color you want. I look for the thick color glow around the enemy team and my teamate to keep track Of everyone.
