Character good for controlling?

Which character has the best tools to control the flow and tempo of the match? Right now, I've been using sheik for that purpose.

I'd say Shulk because of his Monado Arts.

is a given; /, to me, seem really good at controlling space, this might apply to too, but I don't see enough of him/her in higher-level gameplay to say for sure; Though, if I had to to choose the best, I'd have to say

I'd agree with Sheik, but I definitely feel that Rosa controls the flow of the game best.
