Chances of getting a bomb-omb

I've heard about this and i think its true. can peach really pull out a bomb-omb and what are the chances.

Yes, Peach can really pull out a bomb-omb. She can also whip out Mr. Saturn or a light saber ;o.
As for the chances i'm not really sure.

Yeah, as Xif said, the chances of you pulling out an item is 300 to 1. This is why you increase your chances when

1) you know your opponent isn't coming back to the stage.

2) when he's on the other side, camping.

So yeah, you'll at least pull out one once every 5 matches or more.

uhh? how can u increase the chances??
if u pull out 100 turnips its not going to be 200 more till u get a bomb-omb.
its still going to be 1 in 300 chance!

You have a better chance of getting an item if you pull out more turnips. It won't increase your probabily as per each individual pull, but overall, your chances of getting one is higher if you pull out more.

IMO it's gay that when items are off, Peach can still get items, but G&W can't get food.

well, probability has a nice way of making it just as probably to pull a turnip on the first or the 300th pull.

Its just as rare to get a turnip immediately as it is 1000 pulls from then.

what 1 in 300 really means is that over many many trials (and I mean in the millions upon millions of pulls) the average ratio of items to turnips is 1:300

Its certainly not unheard of to get multiple items within 10 or so pulls.
