Hey Champaign community,

I'm a mediocre player from Chicagoland who will be in your fine area on Saturday June 9th, and I will be without anything to do for a couple hours. Any chance anyone is planing to smash or wants to smash that I could join em for? Please help this smasher in his time of need/boredom. AIM me @ DaBearX7 or post up here. Also consider that I was born in '84 if you have a problem smashin with old dudes.

I've got characters that can probably make a balanced match with any skill level below some maximum (and you probably know if you are at that level).

Since school in champaign is over its gonna be tough to find people playing. I wnet in february and played in a smashfest at Weston (dorm in '6 pack'). But with school over its probably closed..

Champaign is probably a ghost town without college kids

Are you only here for the 9th? If not, there's a few tournies a week - three weeks afterward. Maybe you can make those, so your Zelda can three-stock me three tournies in a row.

theres about 4 or 5 of the regular smashers left in town over the summer.. but we dont really get to play much as everyone has work or school that is down here... but maybe if the infamous bear aka koreandjs yoda comes down we can work it out..

get at slowmo.. if it would be at anyones place it would probably be at his..

@Demon. Yeah I had only planned on being there the 9th but maybe if I can coerce some other guys we could invade on some of those later tourneys.

@ ViperBoy. Haha yeah I will have a car and I would be willing to drive another 45 minutes but sadly I will only be in the area for 2-3 hours so that will leave .5-1.5 hrs to smash. Plus ill probably get lost but thanks man, another time for sure.

I would've missed this thread if AOB hadn't alerted me. My apartment should be free Saturday morning/afternoon should anyone want to smash in it. If it's elsewhere I'll be happy to travel, as I finally have a car down here. I'll have to get in touch with the others to see if they're up for it, but I should be joining you guys. I won't be on the boards again until probably late tomorrow night, having work and after-work naps and all, but whatever you decide on I should have more information by then.

haha there's a word i need to use more.... anyways since most of the smashers out here... basically everyone cept the rados will be back for summer 2 why dont we get a weekly smashfest going? say sunday afternoons?

and btw not that i have a say in this really but as far as locations go henriks place is right in front of a free pool... aka if it's sunny the glass door next to the tv is full of 90% naked girls...ok maybe not 90 percent but still there is a nice view...afoot...
