Hey guys. I've heard that there are few pros maining Lucas. My brother is getting pretty good if I may say. He is getting cocky though. I showed him one of the vids of Vidjo's Lucas match on youtube, and he had the guts to say it was terrible and that he could dominate him. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to accept his challenge for a Lucas ditto and show him how the game should be played. It would have to be over Wi-Fi, which sucks in itself, but would anyone be interested? If you are, let me know and we could set something up. Thanks!

He can play me if he's buff enough to handle my Lucas counterpick which happens to be Claus.

If he beats me we'll dial up vidjo on the bananaphone.

How did your brother come to the conclusion he is better? Did vidjo miss an air dodge? Perhaps your brother feels he should be zap jumping more?

I often laugh when ppl can watch a video and decide they are better...especially in brawl.

Lucas in teams (especially when your partner is ICs) means you're the kill move just about exclusively. It's a completely different mindset from singles. On top of that, a video of a teams match from over a month ago definitely won't be able to tell if your brother can take him on in a 1v1. You can rarely see how fast someone's learning someone from a vid like this or any vid without playing them.

EDIT: On that note, I've never played Vidjo and for all I know he might be awful but I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.
