Chaingrab or grab problem

Hey Shmashboards!

I have one little question: When I grab the opponent with Popo and throw him to the side so that Nana can catch him right away, Nana performs a Dash grab and goes to far. In many Videos it says that you actually only have to grab with Nana when Popo throws, but this doesnt work, too. What's wrong???

your pushing the directional pad too far/hard/fast and causing the dash animation to start rather than a walking animation for nana to regrab. im sure there and pleanty of places on here that can direct you to tips on how to perform them. this is the Icey boards after all

Only slightly push it forward, enough to make nana walk, it shouldn't be a problem then
