Rules:
- 4 stocks
- Items OFF
- 8 min time limit
- Counter picks
- Tournament style: round 1, 2, 3... quarter, semi, and grand finals
- Double Elimination: Winners and Losers brackets
- Matches will be best of 3
(except semi and grand finals being best of 5)

1v1:
- Main rules apply
- RPS for stage selection (first match only)
- For first match, players pick characters at the same time.
- For the next rounds, winner picks their character, the loser counter picks a character and stage. (see counter stages...)

Stages:
- Yoshi's Story
- Fountain of Dreams
- Battlefield
- Final Destination
- Dream Land

Counters:
- all stages listed above plus Pokemon Stadium

2v2:
- Main rules apply
- Team attack ON
- For the first match, the two teams pick their characters at the same time. For the rounds after, the winner picks their characters, then the losers counter pick stage and characters.
