So let's pretend you're me

You hate charizard's nair after 2.1 and everything

You have cfg and have been loading project M off it for more than a year

You download the newest version of the homebrew option with no wi-fi support, install it, and get confused why there is no private folder: Instead there is a project M folder. "Oh well, must be some goofy new codes they're using."

Start cfg up, set ocarina cheats on, hooktype set to vbi, and load up project M

"Codes found" etc comes up, and the game proceeds to load the Brawl wrist strap screen

"Weird, I thought PM had its own, I guess they got rid of it to look more official"

vBrawl opening

vBrawl menus

Load a match up

BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES

The game freezes.

You can't load from disk because of cfg

You can't load from cfg because of terrorist bees

You go on irc and there are butts being butts and no pmbr members offering help, so you make a thread in the help section hoping standardtoaster or other pmbr members will actually show up and offer assistance.

Here are the contents of Removable disk E (SD card) (the temprer folder was used as a storage place for my sd card contents as I was doing a fresh install at the time of the screen cap, the contents of it would be on the root of the sd card otherwise):

I just tried loading vBrawl in cfg and tried to run the hackless method instead, and got a freeze upon entering the stage builder screen. There are no stages on either the wii or sd card, smash service is off, sd card is not locked, it is 1gb, folder was unzipped onto the root of my sd card, which has no name other than "( E: )" as the drive identifier, my wii and brawl version are ntsc-U, and all folders exist in their proper places.

Getting troubleshooting help from actual pmbr members would be most appreciated, but any help will be met with gratitude.

I'll acknowledge you. I just have no idea how to even begin to help you. I'll mentally try to summon PMBR for you. :urg:
