Immortals began in esports last October with major venture-capatilist funding, where they dominated the NA LCS in the Spring Split. Since then they have obtained top CS:GO and Overwatch teams, as well as a sponsorship from Twitch. Here's what Immortals CEO Noah Whinston had to say about ANTi joining the team in their official announcement:
"Immortals is committed to bringing not only the highest level of play to our fans, but also to providing an incredible entertainment experience outside of the game. ANTi comes to us as both a top-tier Smash player, and a genuine showman who has nothing but love and respect for his fans. We rarely see a player with such talent across the board, and we’re thrilled to welcome this natural fit into the fold."
Excited to IMT | ANTi in action? Be sure to check out 2GGT: Abadango Saga on September 24 where he'll compete against Ally, ZeRo, Nairo, Abadango and more for the first time under the Immortals banner. Additionally, keep up with ANTi on Twitter and Twitch.
