I'll be hosting Smash tourneys for Melee and Brawl on behalf of the newly established "Fair Game Club" at Buchanan high.
The tournament venue will be my house, 624 w. Stuart ave. Clovis CA 93612 (it is in Clovis, but I live a block away from Fresno State College...) Friendlies for brawl will begin at 12pm, followed by the tournament at around 1:30-2pm, then the melee friendlies will begin at about 3pm-3:30pm, and the tournament will start at 4pm.
WARNING: Home run contest might be played.
Rules
Melee will have standard SBR rules
4 stock
8 minute matches
FoD is neutral
Jigg's rising pound is allowed
Peach bomb stall infinite is not allowed
Counter stages are as follows:
Jungle Japes
Mute City
Poke Floats
Corneria
Rainbow Cruise
Brawl will also have standard SBR rules
3 stock 8 minute timers
Items off (including final smash for now)
Snake and Metaknight are banned from first player port (highest priority)
Rock Paper Scissors if people complain about controller ports
If timer runs out due to stalling then the staller will be DQ, sudden death is not allowed.
Bowser Suicide will count as a win for bowser
First stage picked through striking or agreement on random (only neutral stages apply)

Final Destination
Smashville
Yoshi's Island
Delfino
Lylat Cruise
Counter Stages are as follows:
Castle Siege
Halberd
Corneria

There will be Losers and Winners bracket for both Melee and for Brawl (two winners)
5$ entry fee on either game (doubles would cost 10$ for future reference)
Winner for Winners bracket gets 50% of the pot for the game entered
Winner for Losers bracket gets 25% of the pot for the game entered
25% goes to the fair game club in Buchanan (meaning more/better tournaments later)
