Cargo uthrow land on platform?

What in the world is going on when I cargo uthrow someone and they immediately land on the platform? And how the heck do I avoid it? It's so freaking annoying

It's a glitch. not sure if it's being fixed in 3.6

It kinda sucks, although you can mitigate it by shorthopping before doing a u-throw. Should be fixed in 3.6 though.

Was this fixed? I didn't see any changes for DK in the changelist for 3.6b

It's part of the global throw release point changes noted under Misc.

Hey I've been having trouble jumping after I cargo jump up throw. The second jump after the throw comes out fine sometimes and sometimes there's just massive lag between the throw and the second jump. I'll basically be back on the ground before I can jump again. Is this a bug? Sometimes it works fine. In 3.5 I never noticed an issue. It's for that pillar combo
