I just make up stories in my head until I fall asleep..... it doesn't always work, but it's how I've fallen asleep for as long as I can remember. Granted, I'm probably not the best person to say this, because I don't sleep much at all. x.x

Most of the time I'm just not sleepy, though. Or I'm stressed, one or the other.

If you want to sleep just take a Benadryl (Diphenhydramine 25mg) or a Melatonin (all natural sleep aid supplement) about 30-60 mins before bedtime. Although it's not good to use them every night, both are non habit forming and fairly effective.

Usually when I can't sleep, it's because I have too many ideas swarming around in my mind. Once I thinking about something, it's hard to stop. :urg:

Eating before going to sleep can make it really hard to do. I've never actually fallen asleep on a full stomache.

The best thing to do is just let your body do its thing. Basically meditate while your eyes are close. Putting soft music on can also help, but some doctors believe leaving headphones on when you sleep can be dangerous.

Benadryl also works, I tried it before when I had to wake up early to for vacation.

-Benadryl works better if your younger. Doesn't work for me so much but I know it knocks out my younger siblings within half an hour when they take it.

-Steel I can't believe I didn't think of that. That seems like a great way too. Counting backwards.

-Kaylo same here. I usually just fantasize about something and eventually I fall asleep.
