Can't angle my foward smashes

Anyone else having a problem with this?

I think Brawl reads angling differently from Melee. I don't remember exactly how, or if it's been changed to match Melee. But that may be why.

NOPE... ok everyone listen up, you can only angle your smash while charging it, once you start the charge, hold up or down to angle it high or low.

I use the C-stick for quick smashes and I'm able to angle them no problem. Just make sure you hold the joystick in the direction you wish to angle it when you flick your c-stick.
