Cancelling Focus Attack in place?

I'm not sure if that has been discussed or discovered before, but oh well.

Go to 2:08 in the above video and you'll see 9B charging his Focus Attack and then immediately cancelling it upon landing and not moving anywhere. I'm thinking he probably cancelled it the moment he touched the ground, so I tried it out myself and the timing seems a little strict. Anyone know what this might be?

I want to say that he tapped a direction twice then instantaneously held shield after, which canceled the movement. I can't say I'm certain on this, so you might want to hear a Ryu main's thoughts on this. Looks like a nice tech, if we're being honest.

Its called Fadcc or Fadclc or whatever. What he did is FADC into the ground, replacing the dash lag with landing lag. That's why he didn't dash.
