Smash Hero
Alright this “pyramid” ladder is simply my way of trying to make ladders a bit more interesting and diverse and its quite simple really, there are four divisions as of right now, (if we can get 12+ members it will be increased to 5 divisions) each division has a specific number of people that increases as it goes down.
The better you rank on this ladder the higher you’ll be on the pyramid, but along with that each division will have a leader, which will be determined by challenges within the division.
In order to get onto another division you must challenge someone who is not the leader (this doesn’t apply for Division A) and beat them in a best two out of three match, Five stock each. The first stage will always be Hyrule, after that the loser picks the stage (Yoshi’s Island, Mushroom Kingdom, and any Game shark stages may NOT be picked). The loser may pick saffron even if the apposing playing is using Ness, this is called a counter pick, and if the Ness player loses because of the stage, all they have to do is NOT pick Saffron when it’s their turn. If the person who was challenged to a Division match losses, they and the winner will switch spots. (Ex, If someone from division C, challenged and beat someone from division B, they would switch divisions)
I will also be keeping win/lose records so all matches are to be posted here with the number of games lost/won for each player (Ex. “SuperBoomFan vs. Surri-Sama 2-0”, this would mean SuperBoomFan beat Surri-Sama two games in a row and is exactly how it should be posted)
Don’t forget initial placement on the ladder is almost meaningless, if you don’t think the spot your in is adequate simply play people in the higher division and climb the ladder!
As for "how many matches per day?" You are allowed to challenge someone higher then you once per day, but your also allowed to challenge someone in the same division once per day for the leader spot.
Have fun!
