1 stock matches will almost never reach 3 minutes, so you can save the replay, and use your capture card later with them since you have the replay saved.

That way you don't have to just keep recording matches while you're playing them until you get one good enough on both players parts to put online.

First it was 1 stock matches because I wanted to unlock the challanges by playing on certain stages X number of times.

Second I don't have a capture card, I sent the replay to my friend and he encoded it and sent it back to me.

Yeah that was a hell of a start, I would've killed him in like 6 seconds if I hadn't died...

Dude... this is sad.

That exact same thing happened to me last night.

It was on FD. Match started. Right away Bair > Dsmash > Dair

Then Lucas Up Bed me into the stage and I died and he lived. I was so upset.
