Smash Wii U Can you play tourneys offline?

Like in Brawl or Melee. I don't have access to my wii u so I can't check. Can anybody put my mind to rest?

At least Ganon got a buff. None of my other mains got anything useful. CF got nerfed. Nothing on D3. MK has more "honest" hitboxes. Meaning he just sucks more honestly.
