First off i 'm using my cell phone to write this right now so I couldn't do a whole lot of searching for an answer to this so excuse me if its been discussed a million times. I've been out of the loop for a while and then a friend mentioned brawl+ to me one day and it brought me back to Smash completely lol. My brother saw a video on some texture mods and after doing some more research I downloaded a ton of texture files and other crap I figured I might need but haven't done anything with it yet because I can't find a tutorial on whether or not it works woth brawl.

So my question is basically can you play with texture mods on brawl+ if so, how? I don't know how to work a code manager or what the snapshot hack is either so breaking it down a little would be great. Or even pointing me to a tutorial I can follow. My modding experience is limited to doing everything I needed to get brawl+ operational.

I don't think you can... you have to make your own(look for the original codeset). After that, you have to use Brawl+ Tweaker to make a .bin snapshot file.

The easiest thing to do is to do this:

In the .gct, you put first the texture codes, and then the snapshot loader.

And then in the .bin, you can update whatever codeset you're using without having to mess with multiple files. (Sure, you need to turn the .gct into a .bin, but that's not really a big deal.)

Yeah I tried that snapshot method and apparently I need some kind of keys, SDkey and SD-IV or something like that. I don't have the patience to search a bunch of websites for em so i just downloaded gecko_brawl which allows 430 lines, enough for Brawl+ and the texture hack codes

We are releasing two premade SD sets with the newest Plusery later today.

One of which will be texture hack enabled. Enjoy it from there!

I use Tweakerv8 and apparently so do a bunch of people. v9 requires some kind of keys or something to make the gct into bin so that's why I don't use it.

But I guess Gecko_brawl works too.
