Can you increase the number of palette swaps?

This may be a dumb question, but I'm kinda new to modding, I recently downloaded a few additional palette swaps for brawl and I don't really want to replace any of the ones already in the game, I already know how to properly set up the model and portrait, I just want to know if there is a way to add more slots? (I'm using Brawlbox)
