Can you imagine the credits?

Now, I know this is probably an odd post, but with all these new characters, along with 3rd party characters, can you imagine how long the credits may be? Or at least the amount of targets there will be to shoot? For something so trivial, I'm excited for even the credits.

Nothing beats fable's credits in length. God **** I went to a movie and back and it wasn't even done >_> *Sarcasm* But on a serious note they are around 15 minutes long

I don't think it'll be targets this time. I'm basing that on absolutely nothing btw, just hope. :p

It would be cool if you get to control your Character in the Credits, and maybe fight them off or something. Do we have a Credits thread?

Anyway, I'm sure you'll be able to speed them up like in Melee. :)

I remember that in Devil May Cry 3 (I think it was the third..), during the credits you had to fight off monsters that would not cease to spawn. Also, if you killed a certain number of then, mini-bosses would appear, and if you killed enough before the end (there was a kill count), you would unlock hidden content (can't remember what now, though).

It'd be nice to have something of the sort in brawl, and it could also be a way to unlock characters/stages/CD's/stickers/whatever. But I can't really imagine fighting the credits itselves :p My idea was fighting maybe SSE enemies.

Judging by what they did with the wifi mode I can say that the credits will probably have you beating the sandbag

Original it was just the credits passing the screen in a cicular pattern and if you pressed a button it would freeze and give you additional information about that person/compnay (just a couple lines).

Melee you shot at targets as they passed by and you could pause it to get a good glimpse at the screen.

For Brawl, I'm hoping it's interactive such as Super Smash Bros. Melee, though maybe something different.

I have an idea. I have a feeling you're going to go into the bad guy's world at the end to finish them off. Then, you're gonna have to get back out before the whole place blows up. Meanwhile, the credits roll.

Or something. I can imagine a Credits level or sorts. We all can.

Nope. My imagination died a few years ago.
Actually, maybe it could be unique for every character? Like a mario stage for mario characters or a sonic stage or an ice climbers stage... you dig?

1. The Credits are going to do something with clickong on the peoples names (like every other game, so you can get more info on the people)
2. It's going to basically be the same amount of people as melee, just a bit more, because of the new characters.

Show clips from past games with each character, that would be awesome.

Show Mario from SMB going through the levels, then SMB 3, then Mario 64, etc.

Show Sonic going through green hill.

Ending credits as a stage lol? You fight on them as they scroll up...would be interesting. I see the wiimote working with the credits thing the best, i guess they can throw in motion controls there is a player uses the wiimote...

That's one thing I thnk we can be sure of is the ability to speed through them with Start. Here's hoping it took the "shooting" element of Melee and add a different, just as interesting, environment.

I don't think we need to worry about boring credits, not after what we got in melee.

Come to think of it, does anyone actually remember the names of nayone in those credits? Besides Shiggy and Sakurai, that is.
Jun Fukuyama (I know that's spelled wrong!)
Voice of Roy.

That's all I got.

Instead of the credits shooting, you'll have to fight against a horde of Miis representating each developer, and their name/job scrolls by whenever you knock one out :p

I always thought that in Smash Bros melee you could get something from shooting almost all (if not all) of those names in the credits. I of course was horribly wrong, but it would still be cool if you got a "Shooting Trophy!" for all your hard shooting work...

Yeah I am a game tester for Brawl and he had be go through SSE. Got to the credits, they are similar to Melee and you sit there and shoot them. I swear, I was shooting names for two hours before I finally said "dude...? Sakurai, it's not gonna work."

Not really, but I could picture that.

maybe...but only for SSE i think that actually if you make it out it shows a secret ending with them escapeing and if you dont reach the end by the end of the credits than it shows an ending with the place blowing up and then the charicters inside have their trophy (dead) form flyout and land infront of the camra

I think the credits will be like this:

1. Classic Mode- Scrolling credits like usual , you shoot them. If you are using the Wiimote, you are abe to shoot the text with the remote. There might be a good chance of a new feature such destroying the text with your character.

2. Adventure Mode- Since Brawl promise a strong storyline, we will have different character ending. Once you beat the game with every character, I belive that their will be an ending in which affects each character.

This is never happen, but these two songs would make be a great ending theme for Brawl

Audioslave- Shadow of the Sun-http://youtube.com/watch?v=2zhSRNFeQpM

Aerosmith- Livin on the Edge-http://youtube.com/watch?v=T4AxQXmasg4

I dig. I could easily picture them making a bunch of levels made out of credits and if you wanted to actually read them, you could pause and a pointer would appear on screen. They could make an Ice Climber level where you climb on credits instead, Mario levels where the clouds, ground, or enemies are credits, etc.

For sure, but I do agree that shooting the credits will be MOST likely with what will happen
BUT....
I also do think that there would be a lot of fans begging for the mode where you play a small game based on the character you finished as.

Agreed. They'll probably have you use the Wiimote to shoot the credits so they can utilize its motion sensor in some way. All of their games have motion sensor minigames in them at the least.

they could have it so you run around with SSE enemies spawning, and each one you kill explodes into a credit

like a race to the finish while hitting the credits? just a random race, it could be possible with the level editor...
