ill be the first to admit that im mediocre marth player, I dont ry with him, and I dont care to learn cause falco is just too amazing. but when I play my friend's jiggs (which he considers as his best character) wiht my marth, I win about half the time, and also Ive been told that Marth Vs. Jiggs is completely even. can you just tell him to shut up or does marth actually have some sort of advantage?

i would say marth does have an advantage but not a huge one depending on level of play

marth can tipper kill jiggs realy low % but a jiggs can rest kill low too

rest is the harder one to pull off id say because of the aformention range advantage that marth has but a jiggs can edge gaurd pretty well and wop it up.

so i'd still say marth has an advantage but there are ways around it

he shouldnt complain about it anyway, hes the one who chose jiggs, if he wants to complain, he should just switch it up.

and yes marth has a better advantage over jiggs.

I would say at lower levels Marth clearly has an advantage over Jiggs. Only a few Pro Jigg players claim the matchup is even. As a jigg main they need to know how to DI and be able to l-cancel well against Marth. So imo Marth > Jigg in the matchup if both players are still learning.

its not that bad for puff because marth can have hard time killing him at hard %
if he relies on fsmash too much, puff can punish it badly. utilt isnt very reliable too
as a puff player he should be able to deal with that matchup which is very common , so tell him no johns

posting this in the marth section makes it biased

marths spacing and chainthrow to a tipper can be a zero to death for jigglypuff

A tipped u-tilt can kill a Jiggs pretty medium percentages. But Jiggs is one character that doesn't get spiked easily, and spiking is one of Marth's strengths. I think Marth has a slight favor due to his range, but that's it.

Heres my unbeatable combo for marth vs. jiggs

Side B (once) to uptilt

Its extremely hard for the puff player to get in there.....

Try it yourself against a good puff player....

Spam Side B into Uptilt.

Side B has to hit the puff before doing the uptilt.....
