Can the fthrow also throw.... up?

The forward throw does throw up... The throw to use which throws the opponent at a horizontal angle is the cargo down throw.

Yeah it can. Sometimes you can use the cargo upthrow to set up an up-air.

It can also throw "down" which throws them forward (cause the normal fthrow throws them kinda diagonally up). The fthrow down is really good for setting up a fair or dair spike.
