Can someone please explain to me how Pit is light?

Basically, the biggest argument against Pit being one of the best characters is that he's light.

Can someone please explain to me how being exactly in the middle of both weight and FS charts qualifies him as light?

Oh by the way,

Mario is a fast character.
Donkey Kong is medium-sized.
King Dedede is a middleweight.
Sonic is mediocre at running.

Please stop using weight as a silly justification for Pit not being good.
